Generally speaking if the webspace is very cheap then the support will be poor and you will be crammed on a server with hundreds of other companies. This will mean that there is a higher likelyhood of downtime due to software glitches/clashes, which increase the more users you have on a machine, and high bandwidth use. The server may also run more slowly. In fact we pay £1000 a year for a managed server as if it goes down for just one day it can cost more than a £1000. 1 day downtime or 24 days of 1 hour at a time equates to 99.5% uptime.... If you've got an address like www.mybusiness.freewebhosting.com then people are'nt likely to remember the address that easily. It's also going to be harder to find on a search engine.
