Business coaching is ideal for people who need help in creating a vision and direction for their company, people who have started their own business but lack business acumen or management skills or managers who want to become more effective leaders. Here’s a recommendation for a business coach – http://www.quantumvalues.com/

Those tips are applicable to everyone, not just businessmen. But for the sake of discussion, you should always be ready for change if you’re into business. In fact, you should welcome it. Always be on the lookout for an opportunity for change. Don’t wait until you’re stagnant or you hate what’s happening. If you see a chance for positive change, go for it.

I would say that usually BIG changes shouldn’t be creative ones. Ideally they should follow a proven path, just perhaps from some other business, industry or expert.

Oh, and get the mentoring and personal access to make it happen as safely as possible. This way big change doesn’t have to mean big risk.

Letting go can be very difficult for business owners who have been running their business for a long time. However, giving control to someone with fresh input can be exactly whats needed to allow your company to thrive. If that is not an option consider hiring some new, younger staff who should have a totally different perspective on your company and may be able to infuse it with a jolt of energy.

Change is always hard but probably even harder when you are the one that is trying to stop it, and you are the one that needs to implement it.
