It is about keeping your eyes open. I heard a great little bit of entrepreneurial flair the other day. A lady was at a crime scene and she noticed that police had problems with contaminating crime scenes by just walking in. So she invented a type of transparent plate or film that could be put down on the carpet/floor and this would not lift up or disturb any evidence before the guys in fully covered forensic suits could get to the scene.
