As part of our OnlineOffice we offer web-services like web-hosting, email, online shop, online file-store and a wordpress blog. Blogging is most certainly the most inexpensive and direct way to communicate with possible customers, you can
- blog about your products and services; explain certain aspects better;
- blog about your company and your business mission;
- blog about your industry, comment on development and differentiate yourself;
- blog about case studies to do with your product and services.
In other words communicate with others on the internet and market your small business. There are many hosted services out there, which are more or less easy to use. Our approach has been to make the blog a plug-in to the basic web site you can setup without any IT skills. With our free 24/7 live support we can help with any issues, should you have any. problems.
For me blogging is a bootstrapper technique to attract new business without having to spend any more money. In the mid-ninties I used to tell people to get a web-site, today a web-site should be standard for any small business and a blog a must if you want to succeed in the future. You may believe that blogging is all about attracting global audiences, when in reality you can use blogging for very local markets, too. It certainly beats sending out leaflets and it is better for the environment.
If you have a story to tell, tell it - nobody else is going to do it for you. ST.

Blogging is the way to go these days. Every company should have a blog. It is a way to reach out to the customer base, learn what their customers think, and it is great for sales as well.

Believe it or not there are many businesses out there that are still not online. Others that have websites but are completely unfamiliar with the potential blogging can offer.

Blogging is as important as ever, but it’s got to offer something different. A lot of people have blogs for the sake of having blogs, and because they’ve heard they’re good for SEO.
Blogs only work if you fill them with good, original content

According to a survey recently highlighted by Lee Oden(http://www.toprankblog.com/2008/10/seo-tops-recession-internet-marketing-tactics/), business Blogging is currently the second most popular activity for online marketing, just below Search engine optimization. With the word recession being bounced around so much, it makes sense to focus on Blogging to talk directly to consumers allowing them the opportunity to respond.

I would like to know how to attract more end users for a blog, I have set up a website to promote Cala dOr in Mallorca, not as a money making enture, just because we love the place, but the site needs activity, how can I get traffic ?

As I’m sure you know, blogging can be much more than a supplementary activity that a brick-and-mortar business uses to communicate with it’s clients and prospects. It can be a full-blown business activity in it’s own right and an income generator if done correctly.
